Last year, Claudia went to Tokyo for the first time. She took a very long flight from Mexico City. On the plane, she read a book and slept for a few hours. When she finally arrived, she felt very excited but a little tired.

El año pasado, Claudia fue a Tokio por primera vez. Tomó un vuelo muy largo desde la Ciudad de México. En el avión, leyó un libro y durmió durante unas horas. Cuando finalmente llegó, se sintió muy emocionada, pero un poco cansada.

On her first day, she went to a famous market and saw many interesting things. She bought a beautiful kimono for her mother and some traditional snacks. For lunch, she ate authentic sushi and drank green tea. She thought the food was delicious.

En su primer día, fue a un mercado famoso y vio muchas cosas interesantes. Compró un hermoso kimono para su mamá y algunos bocadillos tradicionales. Para el almuerzo, comió sushi auténtico y tomó té verde. Pensó que la comida estaba deliciosa.

The next morning, Claudia got up early and went to a big park. The weather was perfect. She sat under a cherry blossom tree and wrote some postcards for her friends. Later, she found a small museum near the park. Inside, she saw old paintings and read about the history of Japan. She spent three hours there because the art was beautiful.

A la mañana siguiente, Claudia se levantó temprano y fue a un parque grande. El clima estaba perfecto. Se sentó debajo de un árbol de cerezo en flor y escribió algunas postales para sus amigos. Más tarde, encontró un pequeño museo cerca del parque. Adentro, vio pinturas antiguas y leyó sobre la historia de Japón. Pasó tres horas allí porque el arte era hermoso.

In the afternoon, she met a local guide who spoke English very well. He showed her a historic temple and told her many stories. Claudia took many photos of the gardens. In the evening, she went to a small café and met other travelers. They had a wonderful time together and made new friends.

Por la tarde, conoció a un guía local que hablaba inglés muy bien. Él le mostró un templo histórico y le contó muchas historias. Claudia tomó muchas fotos de los jardines. Por la noche, fue a un pequeño café y conoció a otros viajeros. Pasaron un momento maravilloso juntos e hicieron nuevos amigos.

She came back home two weeks later. She brought many gifts for her family, but she kept the best memories in her heart.

Regresó a casa dos semanas después. Llevó muchos regalos para su familia, pero guardó los mejores recuerdos en su corazón.
