Sam and Dean were friends in high school. They didn’t have a lot of money, but they wanted to start a band. Sam was a guitar player, and Dean was a drummer. Their first instruments were old and cheap, but they practiced every afternoon in a small garage. They didn’t play very well in the beginning, but they didn’t stop.
Sam y Dean eran amigos en la escuela secundaria. No tenían mucho dinero, pero querían formar una banda. Sam era guitarrista y Dean era baterista. Sus primeros instrumentos eran viejos y baratos, pero practicaban todas las tardes en un pequeño garaje. Al principio no tocaban muy bien, pero no se detuvieron.
Last month, they received an invitation to play at a local festival. On the night of the show, the garage was empty because they were at the town square. The stage was big and the lights were bright. Sam felt nervous, but he didn’t show it. They played five songs. The audience listened and clapped at the end. It was a great success! They didn’t win a prize, but they were very proud of themselves.
