A: Hey! Are you still downtown?
B: Yeah, I’m actually walking around right now. I’m trying to find a good bookstore. Do you know one?
A: Oh, yes! There’s a really nice one across from the courthouse. You know, the big building with all the columns?
B: Oh, I think I’ve seen that one! Okay, across from the courthouse… got it. While I’m there, I should probably stop by the bank too. I totally forgot to deposit a check.
A: That’s actually super convenient, because the bank is right next to the bookstore! Like, literally right next door.
B: Perfect, that saves me some time. Okay, what about food? I’m getting kind of hungry.
A: There’s a bakery next to the bus station. Their bread is amazing, by the way. I always stop there before a trip.
B: Ooh, nice. Is it far from here?
A: Not really. And actually, if you keep walking past the bakery, there’s a gym across from the hospital. I used to go there all the time before work.
B: Used to?
A: Yeah, I kind of stopped going… long story. Anyway! If you need anything else, there’s a drugstore next to the hospital too. Super close to everything.
B: Wow, this part of the city has everything. Oh! One more thing — my dad needs a haircut. Do you know if there’s a barbershop around here?
A: Yes! There’s one across from the high school. Actually, it’s the same barbershop my brother goes to.
B: Perfect, I’ll send him there. Okay, I think I have my whole afternoon planned now, thanks to you.
A: Ha, anytime! Let me know if you find that bookstore.

A: Hay una panadería al lado de la estación de autobuses. Por cierto, su pan es delicioso. Siempre paso por ahí antes de un viaje.
B: ¡Qué bien! ¿Está lejos de aquí?
A: No mucho. Y de hecho, si sigues caminando después de la panadería, hay un gimnasio al otro lado de la calle del hospital. Yo iba ahí todo el tiempo antes del trabajo.
B: ¿Ibas?
A: Sí, dejé de ir hace tiempo… es una historia larga. ¡En fin! Si necesitas algo más, también hay una farmacia al lado del hospital. Está muy cerca de todo.
B: Vaya, esta parte de la ciudad tiene de todo. ¡Ah! Una cosa más: mi papá necesita un corte de cabello. ¿Sabes si hay una barbería por aquí?
A: ¡Sí! Hay una al otro lado de la calle de la escuela secundaria. De hecho, es la misma barbería a la que va mi hermano.
B: Perfecto, le voy a decir que vaya ahí. Bueno, creo que ya tengo toda mi tarde planeada gracias a ti.
A: Ja, ¡cuando quieras! Avísame si encuentras esa librería.
