FLASHCARD ACTIVITY:
Watch the video with students. Print a set of cards for each small group. Give instructions for students to identify the correct pictures: “There are four apples. There are nine apples. There are two apples.” and so on. You can laminate the cards, and students use board markers to cross out the pictures. Or they can use small erasers, beans, or any other objects to place on the images as you mention them. Once they understand the activity, they can work in their small groups by giving each other instructions.

Write these actions on the board:Clap Snap Stomp Jump Introduce the actions:First, do the actions by yourself, so students understand the meaning and pronunciation. (Say the words as you move.) Then, do the actions together with all your students. Finally, students do the actions by themselves following your instructions.
Actions and Numbers:
Write on the board: Clap ___ times. Snap ___ times. Stomp ___ times. Jump ___ times. Give instructions to students:Clap three times. Snap six times. Stomp four times. Jump ten times, and so on. Once students have practiced enough and understand the activity, they can work in small groups giving each other the instructions.
MEMORY GAME:
Students work in small groups. Print two sets of these cards for each group. Cut the cards individually and mix them up. Students analyze the cards and place them facing down. They take turns trying to find the pairs of numbers. Tell students that in order to look at a card, they have to say the number first. The winner is the student who ends up with the most pairs of cards.
